We have introduced a new seafood platter, the Mersea Seafood Platter.
Our platters are named after the creeks and islands within our Fishery, but this platter is so generous, we decided to name it after the Island we live on. Mersea Island, is just off the coast of Essex and joined by a road called the Strood, which floods at high tide, cutting us off from the main land.
The Mersea Seafood Platter is a real treat, with dressed lobsters, dressed crabs, shell-on and peeled prawns, langoustines, big crevettes, cockles, brown shrimp, smoked salmon, smoked mackerel and a king crab leg... it's a lot of seafood! Designed to be shared by up to six people there's such a wide selection of seafood there's something for everyone.
