The Fishery is on the far end of Mersea Island in the middle of nowhere by our river and the North Sea, so right in the path of the snow. Being in the sticks is idyllic but when snow hits, our drive and the lanes leading up to the Fishery don't get gritted or see a snow plough, it becomes 4x4 time.
For our couriers that's only a small part of the journey, so we have made the tough decision not to send out any website orders for the rest of the week rather than disappoint you and throw away a lot of seafood.
